Announced in 2021, the SA-35 was built in the USA as a faithful yet updated take on the Hi-Power pattern, reflected in its HP-prefix serial format. It deletes the magazine-disconnect safety and incorporates revised feed-ramp and extractor geometry aimed at modern 9mm loads.
The pistol is built on a forged carbon steel frame with a matching matte blued slide. Inside is a cold hammer-forged 4.7 in barrel with a 1:10 twist and a single-action, short-recoil tilting-barrel system. A rowel (ring) style no-bite hammer, a manual thumb safety, and a beveled magazine well round out the controls.
Sight regulation comes from a dovetailed front blade with a single white dot and a serrated Tactical Rack U-notch rear that is drift adjustable. The slide wears rear cocking serrations and an external extractor for positive manipulation.
Full-size proportions include an overall length of approximately 7.8 in, a height of approximately 4.8 in, and a weight of about 31.5 oz. Capacity is 15+1, and the pistol is fitted with checkered walnut grips for a secure, traditional hold.
