Condition
Overall Condition: Fair condition, showing extensive signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Overall Condition: Fair - Generally clean, some residue or smudges, slight corrosion.
Bore Fouling: Moderate Fouling - Lead or copper fouling with noticeable buildup.
Specific Condition Notes: The original blued finish shows noticeable thinning, carry wear, and scattered surface oxidation. Camouflage tape covers the stock, forend, receiver, and parts of the barrel; this may conceal scratches, dings, or finish wear on the wood or metal beneath. The barrel exhibits moderate fouling and would benefit from a thorough cleaning to fully assess bore steel. The gun is configured with the classic long-recoil Auto-5 system.

This Magnum Twelve variant is built for 3 inch 12 gauge loads and is marked accordingly on the receiver. Produced by Miroku in Japan, it carries Browning Arms Company roll marks referencing Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q., along with Browning patents. The PM date code decodes to 1980 production.
The 28 inch Special Steel barrel includes a ventilated rib with a matted top and a single front bead for a clear sighting plane. It uses a fixed choke and features a knurled magazine cap. The barrel is additionally marked "12 GA 3 in 28" to denote chamber length and barrel length.
Factory embellishments include tasteful scroll engraving with the Browning bust logo on the blued steel receiver and a gold-colored trigger. Under the aftermarket camo wrap, the shotgun retains its walnut pistol-grip stock and checkered walnut forend, paired with a factory Browning ventilated buttplate. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
Mechanically, it follows the classic long-recoil Auto-5 system with a tubular magazine providing a 4+1 capacity. The humpback receiver profile, "Magnum Twelve" roll mark, and overall configuration align with Browning’s magnum waterfowl-oriented Auto-5 pattern from this era.
