The METE MC9 is built on a micro-size polymer frame with molded stippling and interchangeable backstraps, giving the shooter a compact footprint with practical grip options. Ambidextrous slide stop levers support left- or right-hand operation without aftermarket parts.
Its 3.18 in cold-hammer-forged steel barrel uses a Browning-type tilting-barrel locked-breech operating system. Dovetailed iron sights feature a white-dot front post and a serrated square-notch rear for a clean, glare-reducing sight picture.
The slide arrives optics-ready with a Shield RMS/RMSc-pattern cut and a cover plate retained by two screws, letting the buyer choose a compatible micro red dot or run irons as included. Both slide and frame wear an FDE finish for a cohesive look.
A three-slot Picatinny accessory rail adds light or laser mounting flexibility at this size class. The flat-faced trigger with an integral safety blade, along with a trigger safety system, provides a consistent striker-fired feel.
Capacity is 15+1 with the extended magazine, and a 12-round compact-length magazine is also included.
