The Model 1100 Classic Trap is a purpose-built trap variant with factory engraving, including scrollwork on the receiver, a gold bird inlay, and "CLASSIC TRAP" on the left panel. The steel receiver wears a high-polish blued finish, complemented by a gold-tone trigger and a cross-bolt safety. Capacity is 2+1.
Its 30-inch Target Contour barrel features a vent rib with longitudinal matting and a dual-bead sight setup, using a white front bead and a mid-bead for a flat, consistent sight picture. The barrel is threaded for Rem Choke and is roll-marked "12 GA 2-3/4" – TARGET CONTOUR" and "Remington Arms Co. Ilion, NY". The chamber is 2-3/4", as expected for dedicated trap loads.
The walnut trap stock uses a Monte Carlo comb for a high, repeatable cheek weld, with cut checkering, a gloss finish, and a pistol-grip cap. A ventilated recoil pad with a white line spacer and a 14.5-inch length of pull round out the handling package. The matching walnut forend maintains a classic, well-balanced feel.
Choke versatility is a standout: the gun includes mod, singles, mid handicap, and long handicap chokes. Specifically, you receive stainless Rem Choke tubes in Modified (MOD), Singles 0.027, Long Handicap 0.034, and Long Handicap 0.041, along with a 12 ga choke wrench.
