Smith & Wesson SW1911SC E-Series .45 ACP Compact Commander 4.25 in, Scandium-Frame, Night Sights, Matte Black
The Smith & Wesson SW1911SC E-Series is a compact, Commander-length .45 ACP 1911 built on a lightweight scandium-alloy frame with a Melonite-treated stainless slide. It features Trijicon night sights, distinctive fish-scale slide serrations, and a round-butt/bobtail grip frame, all finished in matte black. This example is in excellent condition and includes two 7-round magazines and the factory case.
Notable E-Series details include an anti-glare serrated slide top, external extractor, and Series 70-style firing system with a titanium firing pin. The 4.25-inch barrel uses a traditional bushing and a recessed crown. Ergonomic upgrades such as a checkered front strap, flat mainspring housing, and checkered wood grips with the E-Series emblem round out a well-sorted carry-size 1911.

What’s Included
- Smith & Wesson blue factory hard case with serialized label (4.25 in barrel)

- Smith & Wesson polymer 1911 bushing wrench
- Two 7-round .45 ACP single-stack steel magazines (one magazine body marked "45 ACP")
The scandium-alloy frame is hard-anodized for durability, and the Melonite-treated stainless slide wears a matte black finish to match. Front and rear fish-scale serrations and an anti-glare serrated slide top aid manipulation and sight tracking, while the external extractor adds a robust extraction system.
Carry-focused features include a round-butt/bobtail grip frame to reduce printing, a checkered front strap for control, and a flat mainspring housing. The red/brown checkered wood grips carry the E-Series emblem for positive purchase and visual identity.
Sight and fire-control components are well appointed: a dovetailed Trijicon front night sight pairs with a low-mount rear with dot inserts. A commander-style skeletonized hammer and a three-hole skeletonized trigger complement the Series 70-style firing system with a titanium firing pin (no firing pin block).
This compact 1911 is chambered in .45 ACP with a 7+1 capacity and uses a standard magazine release. It incorporates a beavertail grip safety and a manual thumb safety, and it maintains a clean profile without an accessory rail.
