The 5-inch Target barrel assembly uses a factory forward shroud/weight with lightening slots, secured by two Torx/hex screws. This setup lengthens the sight radius and provides a distinct Target profile specific to this model variant. Rifling is 6-groove, right-hand.
Built on a black polymer frame with molded finger grooves and checkering, the pistol uses a zinc-alloy slide over a steel barrel and breech block. Operating is simple blowback with an external hammer and DA/SA trigger. Controls include an ambidextrous, paddle-style magazine release and ambidextrous slide-mounted manual safety.
Sighting is via a 3-dot system with a fixed front blade and a windage-adjustable rear. The slide features a loaded-chamber inspection slot for quick visual checks. An accessory rail is integrated for mounting compatible lights or training accessories.
