The T3 is a purpose-built, compact 1911 configured as a CCO: a Commander-length 4.25-inch slide over an Officer-length grip frame. This setup balances sight radius and reliability with easier concealment, and is supported by a stated 7+1 capacity in .45 ACP.
Its match-grade, bushing-fitted barrel is marked "NHC .45ACP NM" on the hood and is complemented by a lowered and flared ejection port. Sighting is fast and clear with a tritium front dot and a dovetailed, Trijicon-marked rear sight. The slide wears rear-only cocking serrations and longitudinal top serrations with a serrated topstrap to reduce glare.
Controls are straightforward and carry-focused: single-action, locked-breech operation; a single-side thumb safety; and a beavertail grip safety with memory pad. The skeletonized commander-style hammer and a long, three-hole aluminum trigger are tuned to a crisp 3.5–3.75 lb pull.
The two-tone finish pairs a dark slide with a matte silver steel frame. The front strap and mainspring housing feature fine checkering, and the concealment-style beveled/funneled magwell is integrated with the mainspring housing. Additional touches include a checkered recoil spring plug face and clean Nighthawk Custom and T3 slide markings. Black/gray G10 grips with Nighthawk medallions and grooved texture provide secure purchase.
