The G47 MOS was developed for the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in 2019 and is now available to the commercial market. This example is Austrian-made and carries factory markings reading "MADE IN AUSTRIA • GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA."
Gen5 enhancements include ambidextrous slide-stop levers, a flared magwell, Gen5 grip texturing with no finger grooves, and forward and rear slide serrations. The slide wears Glock's durable nDLC finish and includes the MOS interface for direct mounting of compatible plates and optics.
The 4.49 in GLOCK Marksman Barrel promotes accuracy and longevity, while the Safe Action system and a nominal 5.5 lb trigger provide a consistent striker-fired pull. Fixed iron sights are installed, with a white dot front sight. Capacity is 17+1, and three factory 17-round magazines are included.
The G47 utilizes a shortened dustcover relative to the G17 and is designed for broad parts compatibility within the Gen5 9mm lineup (G17/G19/G45). The factory case label shows model code PA475S203MOS, and the serial marking on the frame matches the case label.
