This Black Ops Recon runs a Commander-length 4.25" match-grade, ramped barrel for reliable feeding with .45 ACP. The single-action 1911 platform is paired with a double-stack frame that provides a 14+1 capacity, aided by a wide magazine well opening for efficient reloads.
The stainless steel slide and frame wear a matte black Ionbond PVD finish for durability and low glare. Front and rear slide serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and an EGW HD extractor support smooth manipulation and consistent extraction.
Sighting is handled by Trijicon tritium night sights, with the front marked H3 11 and the rear marked H3 13. Ergonomics include a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, a lightened skeletonized trigger, a skeletonized rowel hammer, factory 25 lpi checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing, and aggressive textured black G10 grips.
The dustcover integrates a 1913-style accessory rail for mounting a compatible light. Distinctive markings include "RECON" with a winged-skull on the left side of the slide, "Para 1911" on the right, "PARA USA CHARLOTTE NC" on the frame, and "MATCH" and ".45 ACP" on the barrel. Para-branded pistols like this were produced in the 2010s prior to the brand’s integration into Remington in 2015.
