The Q5 Match Steel Frame configuration brings a precision-machined steel frame with an extended dust cover and an integral 6-slot 1913 accessory rail. The frame is finished in a matte dark tone and incorporates a prominent beavertail for consistent hand placement under recoil.
Controls are competition-oriented, with ambidextrous slide-stop levers and a left-side push-button magazine release. A Walther-branded flared magazine well speeds magazine changes, and the grip setup uses replaceable textured panels; an interchangeable backstrap is included for fit adjustment.
The slide features lightening cuts plus front and rear serrations for positive manipulation. Target-style sights include a fiber-optic front and a fully adjustable rear. The striker-fired system uses a flat-faced, skeletonized trigger with an integrated trigger safety. Overall finish is a uniform matte dark on both slide and frame.
