The Contender’s interchangeable-barrel design places the sighting system on the barrel itself, helping preserve zero when barrels are swapped. This barrel is marked with the MGM logo and “357 Maximum,” and the silver scope base is secured by multiple screws for a solid interface.
The MGM stainless heavy-profile barrel measures 14 inches and is fitted with a three-port muzzle brake and recessed crown. The heavy contour provides a stable platform, while the recessed crown protects the rifling at the muzzle.
This single-action-only, break-open pistol uses an external hammer and is configured as a single-shot (1 round). It has no fixed sights installed, leaving the included Weaver/Picatinny-style base ready for the shooter’s preferred optic.
The stainless steel frame and receiver pair with a black rubber finger-groove pistol grip bearing the T/C medallion and a black synthetic fore-end. The overall configuration is straightforward, durable, and purpose-built for the .357 Remington Maximum chambering.
