It is chambered in .44 Rem Magnum and also accepts .44 Special, offering flexibility for range use and hunting. The rifling twist is 1:20 RH to stabilize common bullet weights in this caliber.
Sight regulation is handled by a brass bead front blade and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. The receiver is drilled and tapped for the BB-RSM/H012 scope base pattern, allowing straightforward mounting of a compatible base if desired.
The rifle uses a tubular magazine with a removable inner tube for loading, providing a 10+1 capacity in this configuration. A transfer-bar safety is included.
