The M&P9 M2.0 Full-Size is built around a stainless-steel slide and 4.25 in stainless barrel treated with S&W’s Armornite finish, paired to a black polymer frame. The M2.0 aggressive grip texture and the interchangeable palmswell backstraps provide a secure, tunable fit, while the extended embedded steel chassis adds rigidity to the frame.
This optics-ready model features a factory optic cut with cover plate and includes the S&W M&P CORE screw and plate kit for the 9mm pattern. Front and rear cocking serrations and 3-dot iron sights (white dot front, drift-adjustable rear with two white dots) support fast manipulation and sighting.
Controls are set up for versatility: ambidextrous manual thumb safety and slide stop, plus a reversible magazine catch. The striker-fired action incorporates a hinged trigger safety and striker block. A sear-deactivation lever allows takedown without pressing the trigger.
Capacity is 17+1 with the included factory double-stack steel magazine. An integral 1913/Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover accepts compatible weapon-mounted lights or other accessories. This U.S.-made pistol is chambered in 9mm Luger and is capable of firing with the magazine removed (no magazine disconnect).
