The Lite Rack slide system uses a reduced-force recoil spring with enhanced grasping ears and front/rear cocking serrations to make slide manipulation more manageable. The slide also features integral fixed sights and locks open after the last round.
Its action is single-action, blowback, with an internal hammer. Controls include a left-side magazine release, manual thumb safety, and a magazine disconnect. The trigger is Ruger’s Secure-Action-style design with a bladed safety.
