This DM-22 uses an over/under, break-open layout with a manual extractor for simple, direct operation. It is single-action with an external spurred hammer and a manual safety, giving the user deliberate control over each shot.
The pistol’s micro size and 2.4-inch barrels pair with a birdshead grip frame for a compact footprint. Fixed sights include an integral front blade and a shallow rear notch, offering a straightforward sight picture.
Construction is Zamak zinc-alloy with a chrome-plated finish on the frame and receiver. The smooth reddish wood grip panels provide a clean, classic look that complements the bright metalwork.
As the .22 Magnum member of the Davis D-Series introduced in 1986, the DM-22 was manufactured in Chino, California, United States. After Davis ceased operations, the rights and tooling were acquired by Cobra Firearms, noting the design’s continued lineage.
