It pairs a 12.5-inch 5.56 NATO barrel with a Superlative Arms adjustable short-stroke gas piston system, an SLR Rifleworks free-float M-LOK handguard, a Maxim Defense PDW pistol brace, and a TriggerTech flat-faced trigger. The result is a feature-rich, FDE-matched package with premium components throughout.

Built on a factory-marked Noveske Model N4 lower with Z-prefix serial, this pistol features an integral trigger guard, a flared magwell, and the large Noveske cross logo on the right-side magwell. The receivers, handguard, and brace housing share a uniform Flat Dark Earth finish that ties the whole PDW package together. The 12.5-inch barrel is threaded and capped with a gold-tone multi-port muzzle brake/compensator.
The operating system is Superlative Arms’ adjustable short-stroke piston, identified by “S” markings. This semi-automatic setup delivers a clean-running piston configuration with on-the-gun gas regulation to fine-tune performance. The system is paired to a free-float handguard for consistent barrel harmonics.
Up front, the SLR Rifleworks free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard in FDE provides modern accessory mounting, with a continuous 12-o’clock Picatinny rail and an installed short 6-o’clock Picatinny section for direct-attach accessories. Controls are ambidextrous where it counts, including the safety selector and an ambidextrous charging handle with extended FDE-finished latches for confident manipulation.
Ergonomics and shootability are enhanced with the Maxim Defense PDW pistol brace featuring dual guide rods and a rear strap, plus the FDE ERGO Grip. A TriggerTech flat-faced trigger is installed, offering a consistent, straight-profile pull. The pistol uses STANAG-pattern magazines and has a stated capacity of 30+1; one 30-round Magpul PMAG GEN M3 is included.
