What's Included
- Stevens Model 59A .410 Bore bolt-action shotgun
The Model 59A is a bolt-action .410 with a right-hand bolt and top ejection. It feeds from an under-barrel tubular magazine (2+1 capacity) with a knurled front cap and brass-colored inner tube, secured by a steel barrel/magazine band for a clean, classic layout.
The 24" steel barrel is fitted with a front bead sight and no rear sight, matching the straightforward field configuration of the model. The choke is not factory-marked, but a drop-in gauge measures the constriction as Full. Chambers accept both 2.5" and 3" shells for added versatility.
Construction is all-steel where it matters, with a blued barrel and receiver. The one-piece hardwood stock has a straight comb and slight pistol grip with smooth, uncheckered surfaces and a black buttplate. Length of pull measures 13.75". A manual thumb safety provides simple, positive control.
Markings include the WESTFIELD, MASS. U.S.A. rollmark on the barrel and a PROOF TESTED stamp. The configuration and features present a solid example of Stevens’ practical American bolt-action .410 design.
