Built in 1977 to honor Wells Fargo & Co., this commemorative Model 94 was produced in a limited run of 19,999 units. The WFC serial prefix, period markings, and New Haven manufacture tie it directly to the factory program celebrating the years 1852–1977.
The receiver features a satin silver-colored finish with factory-applied scrollwork and Western scenes. Engraving includes "W.F. & CO." and the dates "1852" and "1977," with vignettes such as a stagecoach and a Wells Fargo agent that define the theme of the edition.
The carbine configuration centers on a 20-inch round, blued steel barrel and a full-length tubular magazine with a 6+1 capacity. Sight regulation is handled by iron sights: a hooded, ramped front blade and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. The classic top-eject action retains the hallmark handling of the Model 94.
Stocked in American walnut, the rifle wears a straight-grip, checkered carbine set with an inlaid Wells Fargo & Co. medallion on the right buttstock. A saddle ring is mounted on the right side of the receiver, and the receiver itself shows multiple unused threaded holes. A front barrel band completes the carbine profile.
Barrel and receiver markings include "WINCHESTER – MODEL 94 – 30-30 WIN," "MADE IN NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL," and a barrel inscription noting "Wells Fargo & Co. 1852–1977," underscoring the commemorative status and U.S. manufacture.
