This Remington Model 11-87 Premier Light Contour is a gas-operated 12 gauge semi-auto with a 28 inch ventilated-rib barrel and a 3 inch chamber. It features a factory floral scroll-engraved receiver, polished blued finish, and glossy walnut furniture. It comes with a Modified screw-in choke, and the bore is clean and bright.

The 11-87 Premier Light Contour uses a gas-operated system with right-side ejection for dependable cycling. It has a chrome-finished bolt with a ribbed charging handle and a cross-bolt safety. Capacity is 2+1.
The 28 inch light-contour barrel has a ventilated rib with a bead front sight and a threaded muzzle for screw-in choke tubes. This shotgun is chambered for both 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells, and it includes a Modified choke.
Fit and finish are classic Premier: a polished blued/black receiver with factory floral scroll engraving and a polished blued barrel. The gold-colored trigger and the "Remington Arms Co., Ilion, NY" barrel roll mark round out the details.
The stock and fore-end are gloss walnut with cut checkering for a secure grip. It includes a pistol-grip cap with a gold "R" medallion, plus a Remington-branded brown recoil pad with a black spacer. Length of pull measures 13.75 inches.
