This Ithaca Model 51 Featherlight is a classic U.S.-made semi-automatic 12 gauge from the 1970s–1980s, pairing Ithaca's Everlast gas system with a Roto-Forged vent rib barrel. It features factory light scroll engraving on the blued steel receiver, a 28 inch field barrel with a fixed Improved Modified choke, and a 2 3/4 inch chambering. A Pachmayr White Line ventilated recoil pad has been installed, complementing the walnut stock and forend.

Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: The metal surfaces show visible scratches and blemishes from handling and normal field use. The walnut stock has noticeable marks, dents, dings, and scratches consistent with regular use. The shotgun remains in functional condition.

The Model 51 Featherlight uses Ithaca's Everlast gas system, advertised as having only one moving part, with right-side ejection and a right-side charging handle. It is configured with a cross-bolt safety and a 2+1 capacity.
The 28 inch steel barrel is Roto-Forged and fitted with a vent rib and a single orange front bead. It is fixed with an Improved Modified choke, well-suited for general field work where a tighter pattern is preferred.
The receiver is blued steel with factory light scroll engraving on both sides. Furniture consists of American walnut with pressed checkering, a pistol-grip stock with an Ithaca medallion grip cap, and a beavertail forend. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches. A Pachmayr White Line ventilated recoil pad has been added.
Chambering is 2 3/4 inch (non-magnum). Roll markings include: "MODEL 51 - FEATHERLIGHT - 12 GA - 2 3/4 CHAMBER - PROOF TESTED - ITHACA GUN CO., INC., ITHACA, N.Y. - MADE IN U.S.A. - ROTO FORGED." Additional markings include PROOF TESTED, MADE IN U.S.A., and ROTO FORGED.
