The factory-forged steel slide and frame provide a true 1911 foundation, paired with Series 70–type internals that omit a firing-pin block. The build follows GI-style cues including rear-only vertical serrations and an unlowered ejection port, with a matte gray finish across slide and frame.
An Ed Brown .45 ACP barrel is installed, offering a premium component at the heart of the pistol. The Government-length 5 inch barrel and standard single-stack magazine well preserve the classic full-size 1911 profile.
Controls are traditional and straightforward: single-action operation, a checkered magazine release, thumb safety, grip safety, a short solid trigger, and a rowel (ring) hammer. The GI-pattern fixed sights consist of a staked front blade and a fixed square-notch rear.
This pistol includes custom wood grip panels with fine checkering and scroll carving complemented by pearlescent inlays, adding distinctive character. It is imported with a TISAS KNOXVILLE TN mark and includes two 7-round magazines for a 7+1 capacity.
