What's Included
- Ruger Security-Six revolver
Built on Ruger’s robust one-piece medium frame, this Security-Six dispenses with a sideplate for added rigidity. The stainless steel construction carries a brushed/matte finish throughout the frame, cylinder, and receiver, offering durability with a subdued, practical appearance.
The 6 inch heavy-profile barrel features a serrated rib and a partial ejector-rod shroud, combining sight steadiness with protected extraction. Sighting is fully adjustable, with a pinned ramp front sight that includes a red/orange insert and an adjustable square-notch rear.
Controls and ergonomics are classic Ruger: a left-side push-button cylinder release, an exposed hammer for DA/SA operation, and a serrated topstrap. The square-butt grip frame wears checkered walnut panels set with Ruger medallions, giving a secure, traditional feel.
This revolver is chambered in .357 Magnum with a 6-round capacity and uses Ruger’s transfer-bar safety system. Markings include the Ruger encircled "R" proof/logo and an "S" stamp on the rear of the cylinder. As a 1980s, late Security-Six production gun that precedes the transition to the GP100 line, it represents the mature form of the series.
