The 16-inch Daniel Defense cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel is made from chrome-moly-vanadium steel and uses a 1:7 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56mm projectiles. It is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a birdcage flash hider. The mid-length gas system complements this configuration for dependable cycling.
Forged 7075-T6 upper and lower receivers wear a Type III hard-coat anodized finish. The upper is marked "DDM4V7" and mates cleanly to the free-float MFR 15.0 handguard for rigidity and alignment.
The Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, features M-LOK slots, and provides a T-marked continuous top Picatinny rail across the receiver and handguard. Integrated QD sling swivel sockets in the handguard add flexible sling placement.
The rifle includes an adjustable polymer stock with QD sling swivel sockets and a Daniel Defense textured polymer pistol grip. Installed flip-up polymer back-up iron sights and a Daniel Defense vertical foregrip round out a practical, ready-to-use setup. Capacity is 32+1 with the included magazine.
