The Metal Competitor is a full-size M&P9 variant built around a 7075-T6 aluminum alloy frame with Tungsten Gray Cerakote, paired to a black Armornite-finished stainless steel slide for a purposeful two-tone look. Front and rear slide serrations aid manipulation, and ambidextrous slide stops come standard. The flared, removable magwell is factory-marked "COMPETITOR" for fast, consistent reloads.
The 5-inch stainless steel barrel uses an Armornite finish and a 1:10 RH twist. A tuned sear complements the striker-fired M2.0 action. Sights are tall 3-dot irons with a white front dot and a square-notch rear carrying two white dots. The slide is optics cut and ships with a cover plate.
Controls are straightforward and competition-focused, with a left-side magazine release and M2.0 textured grip panels. A 3-slot Picatinny rail on the dust cover supports weapon-mounted accessories. The pistol is configured for 10-round magazines and includes five 10-round steel magazines.
