The V3 configuration provides a traditional DA/SA trigger with a rear decocking button, paired with an external hammer for versatile carry and administrative handling. Fully ambidextrous controls include dual slide releases and HK's paddle-style magazine release. The extractor also serves as a visual and tactile loaded-chamber indicator.
Built for longevity, the steel slide wears HK's Hostile Environment finish over a black, fiber-reinforced polymer frame. The modular grip system supports four backstrap sizes; three spare backstraps are included to tailor fit. An accessory rail on the dustcover accepts compatible weapon lights or accessories.
The 3.66 in barrel is cold hammer-forged with polygonal rifling. Sighting is fast and clear with the installed Dawson red fiber-optic front blade and a drift-adjustable square-notch rear, giving a bright aiming reference while maintaining a robust iron-sight setup.
This P2000 is German-made and imported by Heckler & Koch, Inc., Columbus, GA. It bears German CIP N nitro proof marks, the DE country code, and the HK date code "BE."
