This C-Series, Second-Generation 1851 Navy captures key Colt characteristics from the original pattern, combined with 1970s production quality. It was manufactured in 1971 and retains the classic .36 caliber, single-action percussion layout with a six-shot cylinder.
The 7.5 in octagonal steel barrel wears a high-polish blued finish and is topped with a brass bead front sight. The barrel shows the correct roll-mark "ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY." The wedge is retained by a screw located above the wedge on the right side, consistent with the model’s configuration.
The blued steel cylinder is engraved with the naval battle scene and holds six rounds. The frame, hammer, and loading lever display bone-charcoal color case hardening. A square-back trigger guard and silver-plated brass trigger guard and backstrap complement the one-piece varnished walnut grip.
Markings and components align with the C-Series specification. Matching serial numbers are present on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. The revolver’s finishes and features present as a cohesive, period-correct package, and it comes with its factory box and original manual for added completeness.
