The SF (Short Frame) variant reduces grip circumference for improved reach, and the frame is marked accordingly. As a Gen 3 model, it features the classic polymer frame with finger grooves and a single-slot accessory rail. Controls are left-side only, consistent with this variant.
The 3.78 in steel barrel uses Glock's polygonal rifling with an octagonal profile and a 1:15.75 in right-hand twist. The bore condition is excellent, supporting strong performance with .45 ACP.
Sight picture is enhanced by the installed TG-H3 tritium/fiber-optic set, with green fiber-optic elements front and rear for visibility in a wide range of lighting. These sights are marked TG-H3 as noted.
The pistol uses Glock's striker-fired Safe Action system with three passive safeties. An aftermarket trigger shoe with a red safety tab is installed, offering a visual cue while maintaining the Safe Action operation.
Finish is matte black on the slide and frame. Proof and import markings read "MADE IN AUSTRIA / GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." This G30 SF ships with two 10-round magazines and accepts Glock 21 magazines for increased capacity when desired.
