The L61R Finnbear is Sako’s classic long-action platform, and this Deluxe example is chambered in .270 Winchester with a 24-inch, sightless barrel. The barrel carries the desirable pre-1969 "Bofors Steel" rollmark, a detail valued by Sako enthusiasts and tied to this rifle’s 1967–1968 production window.
The forged steel receiver wears a high-polish blued finish and features integral tapered Sako dovetail rails for scope mounting. The internal box magazine provides a 5+1 capacity and is paired with a hinged steel floorplate. The factory-engraved floorplate and trigger guard add the correct Deluxe-grade presentation.
The bolt body is polished with a round knob handle for smooth manipulation. Safety is managed by a two-position safety complemented by a bolt shroud safety, reflecting Sako’s emphasis on secure operation.
