This MCX-SPEAR is a 7.62x51 NATO, 16 inch, short-stroke gas piston rifle built in the USA and finished in a uniform tan across the receivers, handguard, and extension components. It features fully ambidextrous controls, dual charging options, and a folding, length-adjustable stock. The receiver is marked "SIG MCX-SPEAR" and "MULTI-CALIBER," and the rifle presents in as-new condition.
Condition
Overall Condition: As-new condition with no signs of prior handling beyond what’s typical from inspection (see photos).
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The only observable scratches are very light. The action cycles smoothly and the trigger has a crisp break.

The MCX-SPEAR operates via a short-stroke gas piston system with an adjustable gas regulator marked "NORMAL." It includes a non-reciprocating side charging handle and an AR-style rear charging handle. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety selector, magazine release, and bolt catch/release.
The 16 inch steel barrel is threaded and fitted with a three-prong muzzle device. A free-float, skeletonized aluminum M-LOK handguard surrounds the barrel, providing mounting slots and a continuous 12 o’clock Picatinny rail with an additional short top segment.
At the rear, a 1913 rail interface hosts a folding hinge and an adaptor to an AR-15 carbine receiver extension. The installed Magpul MOE SL-M collapsible stock offers an approximate length of pull from 13 inches to 15.5 inches. QD sling sockets are positioned at the rear and on the handguard.
The aluminum receiver is marked "SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON, NH, USA." The rifle is compatible with SR-25 pattern magazines and has a listed capacity of 25+1. Sights are not included, and the upper provides a continuous top Picatinny rail for mounting.
