What’s Included
- Ruger GP100 .357 Magnum revolver (Standard Series), 4.20 in full-lug satin stainless barrel
- Aftermarket green fiber-optic front sight blade in quick-change base
- Panel-style rubber grip with white inlay panels
The satin stainless one-piece frame (no sideplate) and full-lug 4.20 in barrel provide a cohesive stainless build with a uniform satin finish on the frame, cylinder, and barrel. The six-shot fluted cylinder uses Ruger’s triple-locking system with a crane-mounted front locking lug and a push-button cylinder latch.
Sighting is set up for precise adjustment and fast acquisition: a fully adjustable target rear pairs with an aftermarket green fiber-optic front blade retained by Ruger’s plunger-style quick-change base. The barrel’s top rib has longitudinal serrations to cut glare, and the rear sight elevation screw carries the Ruger phoenix logo.
The revolver operates in double-action/single-action with an exposed, checkered hammer spur and a transfer-bar safety system. Rifling uses 5 grooves with a 1:18.75 right-hand twist. Capacity is six rounds.
Dimensionally, it measures 9.50 in overall and weighs 40 oz. This example is the Standard Series configuration, manufactured in Newport, New Hampshire, USA, with Ruger part number 1705.
