What’s Included
- Para-Ordnance P13-45/Colt MK IV Series 70 Gold Cup National Match custom hybrid pistol
- Two 13-round Para-Ordnance pattern steel double-stack magazines
- Aftermarket smooth light-tan grip panels (installed)
This hybrid build mates a Colt MK IV/Series 70 Gold Cup National Match 5-inch top end to a Para-Ordnance P13-45 wide-body steel frame. The result is a Government-length slide on a high-capacity Para platform, combining target-grade features with double-column .45 ACP firepower.
The Para frame is a true wide-body design that accepts detachable double-stack magazines for a 13+1 capacity. Frame markings include "PAT. PEND." and "CANADA," consistent with early Para-Ordnance production. The platform is full-size and built on steel for durability and balance.
Sighting equipment includes a fully adjustable target rear sight paired with a plain blade front. The pistol runs a single-action-only system with a solid, long trigger, and uses standard 1911-style safeties: a grip safety and a manual thumb safety.
Finish is a polished blued slide over a matte black frame, giving a purposeful two-tone look. The grips are smooth light-tan aftermarket panels that complement the finish. Operation is the classic short-recoil, tilting-barrel system common to the 1911 platform.
