The SAS II TAC G2 is a compact configuration in the SAS II series, pairing a commander-length 4.25 in barrel with a black-finished aluminum frame to reduce weight while maintaining 1911 handling. Its stainless steel bull barrel uses a bushingless, ramped design with a reverse plug, emphasizing durability and consistent lockup.
The slide is cut for optics and uses the BAO multi-footprint interface, with an optic cover plate installed. The rear sight is mounted on the optics plate, and the iron sight picture combines a green fiber-optic front with a plain black rear notch. Front and rear cocking serrations and top lightening windows add practical control and balance.
Controls and ergonomics include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a grip safety, a skeletonized flat-faced trigger, and a skeletonized commander-style hammer. A polymer grip module with aggressive texture and a flared magazine well support fast, confident handling.
