It features a 24 inch Winchester Proof Steel barrel marked "WINCHESTER — MODEL 70 — .270 W.C.F." with "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL" roll marks, factory iron sights with a hooded ramp front, and a drilled-and-tapped receiver. A ventilated recoil pad with a black spacer has been installed, setting the length of pull at 13.25 inches. The bore condition is excellent, and the rifle retains its original blued steel finish and walnut stock with cut checkering.

The 24 inch Winchester Proof Steel barrel carries the original ".270 W.C.F." model and caliber marking, along with "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL." The bore is bright and sharp. Factory iron sights are present, with a hooded ramp front sight fitted.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, and the left rear receiver wall is drilled and tapped for a receiver sight. The rear bridge has a checkered or stippled panel, and the receiver and barrel retain a blued finish over steel construction.
The walnut straight-comb sporter stock features cut checkering at the grip and forend and sling swivel loops. A ventilated recoil pad with a black spacer has been installed, setting the length of pull at 13.25 inches. The internal box magazine is listed at 3+1 capacity.
