Built in Germany and imported by SIGARMS Exeter-NH, this P226 features German proof marks and a German-marked slide with "MADE IN GERMANY" alongside the importer stamp. The slide uses rear cocking serrations only and a pinned breech-block, reflecting classic P226 construction.
The frame is aluminum alloy with a hard-coat anodized finish and a non-railed dustcover, representing the sought-after classic configuration. Controls include the left-side decocker, slide catch/release, and takedown lever, with a reversible button-style magazine release.
It runs a hammer-fired DA/SA, recoil-operated, locked-breech system with a curved trigger and a serrated spur hammer. Capacity is 15+1 in 9mm Luger, and the 4.4-inch barrel is marked "9mm Para" on the hood.
Sighting is via fixed 3-dot contrast sights with a dovetailed single-dot front and a dovetailed two-dot rear. Black checkered polymer grip panels provide a secure hold, and an additional single-letter "K" frame stamp is present forward of the trigger.
This example has matching serial numbers on the slide and frame and retains the classic pre-rail profile, with the pinned breech-block cross-pin visible.
