Built by FN America in Columbia, SC, this all-steel, matte black High Power is a full-size single-action 9mm with a 17+1 capacity. The extended beavertail, frontstrap machine checkering, and beveled magazine well support confident control while maintaining the classic High Power profile.
The 4.7 in cold hammer-forged barrel uses a recessed target crown for edge protection and consistency. A polished chamber and polished feed ramp aid smooth feeding, and the 1:10 RH twist supports common 9mm bullet weights. The barrel hood is marked “CAL. 9MM.”
Controls are modern and intuitive: a fully ambidextrous slide stop and ambidextrous thumb safety, plus a reversible push-button magazine release. A captive takedown lever simplifies field-stripping. The slide features rear cocking serrations and an enlarged ejection port, with a matte black finish to match the steel frame.
Sights are all-steel and all-black, drift-adjustable front and rear, with a 6.37 in sight radius. A rowel (ring) hammer complements the single-action, hammer-fired, short-recoil system. The pistol ships with black polymer grip panels installed and includes an additional reddish-brown set.
