The 2206’s fixed, slab-sided stainless barrel with a relief cut and muzzle nut anchors the design and works with the low bore axis for a steady sight picture. The 6" length complements the fully adjustable rear sight and pinned, ramped front sight for precise aiming with standard .22 LR loads.
Construction is all stainless steel with a matte finish on both frame and slide, making this 2206 heavier than its alloy-framed siblings. Rear slide serrations, a spurred hammer, and black wraparound synthetic grips with the S&W monogram complete the factory configuration.
The blowback-operated action uses a detachable single-column magazine with a 10+1 capacity. Controls include a right-side, frame-mounted manual thumb safety with a red index dot indicator.
Marked as Product Code 107006 and made in the United States, this discontinued 1990s-era 2206 pairs a proven operating system with durable materials and clean, straightforward ergonomics.
