The Type F configuration delivers a traditional DA/SA trigger with a manual safety/decocker, ambidextrous safety levers, and an external hammer. A firing pin block adds an additional layer of drop safety, and the magazine release is reversible to fit user preference.
Its 3-inch stainless steel barrel is paired with a matte black Bruniton-finished slide featuring front and rear serrations and ambidextrous slide-mounted levers. The frame is glass-fiber-reinforced polymer with interchangeable backstraps to fine-tune grip size.
Factory 3-dot iron sights offer a straightforward sight picture. A single-slot MIL-STD-1913 style accessory rail on the dust cover supports compact lights or lasers as needed. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazine, and the platform accepts full-size Px4 magazines with the appropriate baseplates.
This Sub-Compact variant uses a short-recoil, locked-breech tilt-barrel system rather than the rotating-barrel design of larger Px4 models. The slide is marked "Beretta USA Corp. Accokeek, MD – Patented" and "MADE IN USA," highlighting its U.S. manufacture.
