The Emperor Scorpion configuration delivers a full-size, Government-length 5-inch slide and barrel in 10mm Auto with a stainless-steel slide and frame finished in FDE PVD and paired with dark controls. Rear cocking serrations and an external extractor support positive manipulation and reliable extraction. Low-profile 3-dot sights are dovetailed front and rear.
The barrel is a 5-inch, match-grade bushing barrel. The pistol uses a short GI guide rod with a closed recoil spring plug, staying true to classic 1911 service geometry. The single-action system features a skeletonized, lightweight trigger and a skeletonized hammer.
Grip and control features include a checkered front strap, textured black grip panels with SIG medallions, and an extended beavertail grip safety with memory bump. An ambidextrous thumb safety and firing pin safety are built in. A flared magazine-well mainspring housing aids faster reloads. Capacity is 8+1 with single-stack 10mm magazines.
The dust cover incorporates an integral 3-slot M1913/Picatinny accessory rail for mounting compatible lights or accessories. This full-size 1911 is part of SIG's Emperor Scorpion series and is manufactured in the USA.
