The Premier designation is present on the receiver, and the shotgun shows the higher-grade touches associated with this series, including a blued finish, bright-finished bolt and bolt handle, and a gold-colored trigger. The overall presentation is classic Remington with clean metalwork and well-figured walnut.
The 28 in Light Contour barrel carries a ventilated rib with a mid-bead for quick alignment. It is factory-stamped "DO NOT MODIFY" and uses an interchangeable choke system; an extended knurled choke tube is currently installed for easy adjustments.
Its gas-operated, self-compensating system is designed to run a range of loads, and the shotgun is chambered for both 2 3/4 in and 3 in shells. The tubular magazine holds 4+1 rounds. A cross-bolt safety is positioned at the trigger guard.
The walnut buttstock and fore-end feature cut checkering for a secure hold, along with a black recoil pad. Length of pull measures 16.0 in. No sling swivel stud is set in the buttstock, and the magazine cap provides the front sling attachment point. Made in the USA.
