The slide is factory cut for an optic and supplied with a cover plate; the included M&P M2.0 C.O.R.E. plate and screw kit provides mounting hardware for common red-dot footprints. Fixed steel 3-dot sights remain in place for use with or without an optic installed.
Both the barrel and slide are stainless steel with a durable black Armornite finish. Front and rear slide serrations aid manipulation. The compact 4.0-inch barrel and 15+1 capacity deliver a balanced carry and duty-ready format.
The M2.0 frame features an aggressive texture and ships with three interchangeable palmswell backstraps to fine-tune fit. An extended internal steel chassis enhances rigidity. Controls include ambidextrous slide stop levers and a left-side magazine release.
This No Thumb Safety model is marked “capable of firing with magazine removed,” indicating there is no magazine disconnect. An integral 3-slot accessory rail supports weapon-mounted lights or accessories. Made in the USA.
