The VP9A1 K variant combines compact dimensions with the VP9A1 optics-ready generation. The slide is factory cut for optics and includes a cover plate secured by two screws, with forward and rear cocking serrations and a beveled nose for easier manipulation and holstering.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including bilateral slide-stop/release levers and HK's paddle-style magazine release. The polymer frame features interchangeable backstraps and side panels with textured grip surfaces, allowing straightforward fit adjustments.
The cold-hammer-forged steel barrel measures 4.09 in, and the striker-fired system uses a nickel-Teflon-coated trigger bar and integrated trigger safety. A striker status indicator is visible at the rear. Sights are fixed iron types with a front post and a rear square-notch.
This example is marked "Made in Germany" and carries DE proof marks, CIP N, and the Ulm antler, along with the HKI Columbus, GA importer label. Matching serial numbers appear on the slide, barrel, and frame. An integral three-slot Picatinny rail is molded into the dust cover for mounting compatible accessories.
