This Redhawk is the short-barrel 2.75-inch stainless configuration (Ruger Model 05033 / catalog KRH-3572) built around a one-piece frame with no sideplate and Ruger’s triple-locking cylinder system. The design emphasizes strength and timing stability, especially with magnum loads, while keeping overall length to roughly 8.25 inches.
The unfluted 8-shot cylinder is factory-machined for moon clips to speed loading and extraction; the revolver also functions normally without clips. Cylinder width is approximately 1.78 inches, providing eight .357 Magnum chambers in a compact, carryable format.
Sights are fully user-tunable: a fully adjustable square-notch rear with white outline pairs with an interchangeable ramped front sight featuring an orange insert for visibility. The ejector rod is shrouded, and the rifling uses a 1:18.75-inch right-hand twist with six grooves to stabilize .357 Magnum and .38 Special projectiles.
Controls and safety are familiar and proven. The revolver operates in double-action/single-action and uses a transfer-bar ignition system. The round-butt grip frame wears smooth hardwood panels with Ruger medallions, balancing control with carry comfort. Overall weight is about 44 ounces, providing recoil management in a compact stainless package.
