Built by STI's Custom Shop, this 2011 pairs a steel frame with a modular 2011-pattern polymer grip that has aggressive texture and STI medallions. A large flared magazine well marked "sTi" speeds reloads and complements the double-stack, 18+1 capacity design.
The slide is set up for fast manipulation and ejection with front and rear cocking serrations, a flat-top profile, top slide lightening flutes, and a lowered and flared ejection port. Sights are competition-friendly with an adjustable target rear and a dovetailed front blade.
Controls and fire-control parts are tuned for single-action-only operation, including an ambidextrous thumb safety, beavertail grip safety, a skeletonized trigger, and a commander-style skeletonized hammer. The full-length, unrailed dust cover features longitudinal relief cuts.
