The 18-inch cold hammer-forged chrome-moly-vanadium barrel is chrome lined and cut to Daniel Defense’s S2W heavy profile. It is threaded 1/2x28 and paired with the Daniel Defense Gen II Muzzle Climb Mitigator made from 17-4 PH stainless steel with a nitride finish. The rifle-length gas system uses a pinned low-profile gas block for secure, consistent operation.
The free-float MFR 15.0 M-LOK handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and includes a T-marked top rail. Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish, and the upper is equipped with a forward assist, dust cover, and shell deflector.
A factory Geissele SD-3G flat-faced trigger provides a fast, clean break. The rifle comes with a Daniel Defense adjustable stock featuring soft-touch overmolding and textured cheek panels, plus a textured polymer pistol grip with soft-touch overmolding. A short vertical foregrip is installed.
Markings include "DDM4V7 PRO" and "Daniel Defense, Black Creek, GA, U.S.A., MODEL DDM4, CAL. MULTI," with "5.56" marked on the upper. Approximate weight is 7.40 lb, overall length runs about 34.75–37.88 in, and length of pull ranges from about 10.25–13.5 in. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, capacity is 32+1 with the included magazine.
