The P220R Legion runs a short-recoil, locked-breech, tilting-barrel operating system, paired with DA/SA action and a decocker. Controls are on the left side, and capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP. This configuration offers familiar P220 ergonomics with the Legion treatment.
The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and an external extractor, with the LEGION word-mark on top. Sighting is handled by fixed 3-dot night sights: a high-visibility green ring tritium front and a two-dot tritium rear with a ledge profile.
The full-size frame wears the Legion Gray finish and includes an integral three-slot accessory rail, an extended beavertail, and checkering on the frontstrap and trigger guard. Textured G10 grips with Legion medallions deliver a secure hold.
