This PSA JAKL in 5.56 NATO combines a gas-piston, bufferless operating system with a monolithic aluminum upper and a full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail. It features a 16.5 P&W barrel with a three-prong flash hider, an externally adjustable gas block, and a left-side, forward-mounted charging handle. The two-tone FDE/black finish is paired with an FDE stock and Magpul pistol grip, and it comes with three 30-round PMAGs, a soft case, and M-LOK accessories installed.

The JAKL's gas-piston system is paired with a bufferless design that houses the recoil spring in the upper, eliminating the need for a receiver extension. An externally adjustable gas block at the front of the handguard allows on-the-fly tuning to different loads or conditions.
The monolithic aluminum upper integrates the handguard and provides a full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail. M-LOK interfaces at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock offer broad accessory placement, with a Picatinny section already installed at the 6 o'clock position and polymer rail covers in place.
The 16.5 P&W barrel is threaded and fitted with a three-prong flash hider. The rifle uses an AR-15 pattern magazine well and bolt catch, with a typical capacity of 30+1 when using 30-round magazines.
Ergonomics include a left-side, forward-mounted side-charging handle, an FDE stock with adjustable length of pull and a rubberized buttpad, and an FDE Magpul pistol grip. The rifle features a manual safety, a two-tone FDE/black finish, and is made in the United States.
