It features a 4-inch stainless, match-fit, ramped, bushingless barrel and slim double-diamond wood grips with Springfield Armory medallions and 'RO COMPACT' inlays. Factory dovetailed sights with a red fiber-optic front and low-profile two-dot rear complete the sight picture. This USA-made model, PI9125LP, is discontinued.

The Range Officer Compact Lightweight uses a forged carbon-steel slide over a forged aluminum alloy frame to reduce weight while maintaining durability. Its CCO-style layout combines a 4-inch slide with a compact/Officer-length grip for a streamlined 1911 profile.
The 4-inch stainless steel barrel is match fit, ramped, bushingless, and finished with a crowned muzzle. This setup supports smooth feeding and consistent lockup in a compact 1911 format.
Sighting is fast and clear with a red fiber-optic front and a low-profile two-white-dot rear, both dovetailed; the rear is secured with a set screw. The slide is configured with rear cocking serrations only and a lowered, flared ejection port.
Controls include a left-side magazine release, a left-side thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. The skeletonized three-hole aluminum trigger and skeletonized commander-style hammer provide a clean, familiar 1911 control set. The mainspring housing is flat and textured, and the front strap is smooth.
Factory slim double-diamond checkered wood grips feature Springfield Armory medallions and 'RO COMPACT' inlays. This USA-made pistol has a 7+1 capacity with single-stack 9mm magazines. Model PI9125LP is discontinued by the manufacturer.
