The Buckstalker uses a break-open inline percussion action with an exposed hammer for direct, simple access to the breech. A knurled, tool-less removable breech plug streamlines cleaning and maintenance in the field or at the bench. The included under-barrel ramrod with a knurled/jag tip supports consistent loading.
Its 24-inch unfluted steel barrel features a recessed crown and a 1:28 twist. The red fiber-optic ramp front sight provides quick acquisition, and there is no rear sight. The barrel is clearly marked "BLACK POWDER OR PYRODEX ONLY • DO NOT USE SMOKELESS POWDER."
A one-piece multi-slot scope base is installed, and there are two additional drilled and tapped holes forward of the base, giving you mounting flexibility. This setup allows you to tailor the sighting system to your needs without altering the rifle.
The alloy frame and receiver wear a matte silver finish that pairs with a camouflage synthetic stock. Molded checkering offers a secure hold, and a LimbSaver recoil pad is installed for added comfort. Markings include "Made in Spain by ARDESA, Old Saybrook, CT USA."
