The Spec Series V is a limited-edition configuration and the first Spec Series built on the steel-frame M&P platform. This full-size 9mm pairs a dark gray Armornite finish with blue PVD-accented components and a flared one-piece magazine well. It ships with 21-round magazines to match the gun’s full-size role.
The slide is CORE-style and optics-ready with the cover plate installed. It adds lightening windows plus forward and rear serrations for positive manipulation. Tall 3-dot iron sights are designed to clear mounted optics and offer a clear sight picture with a two-dot rear.
The 5 in barrel is extended, spiral-fluted, and PVD-finished, threaded at the muzzle and fitted with a factory two-port compensator. This setup is built for durability while providing a ready-to-mount interface at the muzzle.
Controls include an ambidextrous slide stop and a reversible magazine release, along with a flat-faced trigger. Interchangeable palm-swell backstraps allow quick grip tailoring. An integral 3-slot Picatinny rail on the dust cover supports common accessories.
Markings include SMITH & WESSON Maryville, TN USA and the factory caution text: CAUTION – CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED. The pistol retains the M2.0 pattern ergonomics on a steel frame and arrives as a complete Spec Series V kit with case and accessories.
