This German-made Walther PPQ M2 features the 5-inch non-ported Standard Slide long-slide configuration with Tenifer nitrocarburized matte finish and a 15+1 capacity. It carries C.I.P. proofs with the BI (2018) date code and a Walther Arms, Fort Smith, AR import mark. The pistol combines Walther's Quick Defense trigger with ambidextrous extended slide stop levers, a reversible push-button magazine release, and an integral MIL-STD-1913 rail.

The M2 5-inch Standard Slide variant provides a longer sight radius and a non-ported long slide with front and rear cocking serrations and top anti-glare ribbing. The Tenifer nitrocarburized matte finish supports corrosion resistance and a low-glare profile. The steel 5-inch barrel pairs with the striker-fired system for consistent, repeatable performance.
Controls are well executed: ambidextrous extended slide stop levers are standard, and the reversible push-button magazine release is installed on the right side. Ergonomics include interchangeable backstraps and Walther's cross-directional PPQ grip texturing for a secure, hand-filling hold.
The Quick Defense trigger features an approximate 25 N (~5.6 lb) pull with about 9 mm of travel, along with a central safety tab. Internal safeties include a firing pin block and drop safety, complemented by the trigger safety for confident carry and operation.
Sight equipment consists of 3-dot iron sights with a drift-adjustable rear notch and a front blade that is height-tunable via interchangeable blades. An integral MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail with three cross-slots is molded into the dust cover for mounting compatible accessories. Proof and origin markings include C.I.P.
